    Chapter and Verse

Tuesdays at Noon on Zoom, facilitated alternately by Rabbi Lauren & Dr. Amy.

The world is a complicated place, and the Torah is a magnificently complicated book, and the more life experience you have, the more you will see. Our weekly Torah study group, Torah in the Woods, is an honest, smart, accessible exploration of the parsha each week. All are welcome; no previous study of Torah or knowledge of Hebrew is required. You’ll need a Zoom password, so let us know if you are interested.

  • A group of ten people, seven women and three men, pose together in a room, holding copies of a book titled 'The Triumph of Life'. They are smiling, and some are seated while others are standing behind them. A whiteboard with writing and a heart made of people drawn on it are visible in the background.

    Nosh & Drosh

Join us each Tuesday morning after Minyan for Nosh & Drosh!

Over coffee and bagels, we explore themes of compassion, connection, and community in Jewish life. Bring your curiosity and enjoy lively discussion, meaningful insights, and a welcoming group. Currently we are reading and discussing,

    All are welcome!

  • Group of elderly people gathered around a table, examining antique scrolls and documents in a well-lit room with large windows, brick wall, and casual atmosphere.

    Torah Tours

Several times a year, we take our learning on the road—straight to Atlanta’s favorite coffee shops.

Torah Tours are relaxed, come-as-you-are text study opportunities, where a great cup of coffee meets great conversation. Whether you're a longtime learner or just curious, you’ll find a welcoming table, lively discussion, and a community that loves exploring big ideas together.

Join us, sip something delicious, and see where the text takes you.

    Drop-In Jewish Mindfulness Meditation

    Thursdays at 12:15 pm

Take a breath during your busy day and re-center yourself through Jewish mindfulness meditation led by Rabbi Lauren. Everyone is welcome—whether you're a newcomer to meditation, an occasional practitioner, or you've had a steady practice for years.

Please arrive before 12:15 pm so we can start on time and allow ample time for guided meditation, silence, teaching, and questions.

  • Group of men gathered together at an outdoor event, smiling and posing for a photo, some with arms around each other.

    Men's Discussion Group

Looking for good conversation, new connections, and a relaxed way to spend Shabbat afternoon? The Men’s Club Discussion Group offers a monthly gathering where men come together to share stories, explore Jewish tradition, and enjoy each other’s company. Meetings rotate among host homes—usually in Sandy Springs or Dunwoody—and the address is provided once you RSVP.

All are welcome. Interested? Let us know!

Just bring your curiosity and the richness of your life experience.
