Grounded in tradition and guided by the yearnings and imagination of our members.

About Us

Or Hadash, meaning “new light,” is a welcoming home for Jewish connection—for the sacred, for authenticity, and for anyone seeking a meaningful spiritual community. We believe that by dedicating ourselves to core Jewish teachings and practices, we can bring much needed light to our world and inspire people to live lives of meaning, connection, and purpose.

We are an ever-evolving Jewish community grounded in tradition and guided by the yearnings and imagination of our members, both longtime and new. We are built on the connections that can only form when we are totally ourselves.

We embrace music to awaken the spark of divinity within us and connect us to one another...we sing, dance, and laugh with abandon.

Our spiritual leaders invite us to engage fearlessly with our whole selves and listen for the ways that our rich tradition is speaking to us now.  We want to harness our light to bring forth a Judaism that is a force for expanding hesed, loving action, in our world.

This moment calls us to dream, to wrestle, to wonder, and to experiment with what our sacred community (kehillah kedosha) can be.

Whether you're just beginning your Jewish journey or looking for a deeper connection, we invite you to explore Or Hadash. Come visit a service, attend an event, or simply reach out. We'd love to welcome you in.
