We believe that we each hold a divine spark of light inside of us, whether we’re total novices in Jewish prayer and study or we come from years of experience. We bring our full selves here, and we invite you to bring your whole self, too.
We are an ever-evolving Jewish community grounded in tradition and guided by the yearnings and imagination of our members. We are built on the connections that can only form when we are totally ourselves.

Rooted in Jewish tradition and inspired by spiritual creativity, Rabbi Lauren Henderson guides Congregation Or Hadash in cultivating joyful prayer, lifelong learning opportunities for all ages and stages, and authentic connection. Early Dinner and Shabbat Candle Lighting

5:25pm, Candle lighting followed by Dinner
6:30pm Kabbalat Shabbat Services
Gather the kids, grandparents, teens, toddlers, and everyone in between for an early, family-friendly Shabbat evening. We’ll kindle the lights right at 5:25pm, then enjoy a deliciousdinner, perfect for hungry kids and grown-ups alike. After dinner, stay for services, led by R'Lauren and our davening team with song and guitar.Dinner RSVP: $10/person. Kids 5 and under are free.

Join Rabbi Lauren and friends for a joyful, interactive Shabbat experience filled with music, stories, and movement—perfect for families with children ages 0–6 (and their siblings!).
