Services will be held at Or Hadash and streamed over YouTube/Zoom. Members in good standing may attend in person by providing a picture ID. As a reminder, family memberships include any children under 25.
Whether you're new to Atlanta, exploring Jewish community, or just looking for a place to celebrate the High Holidays, we'd love to welcome you. Tickets are no longer available for Rosh HaShanah Day One, Kol Nidre or Yom Kippur morning. However, we still have space for many of our other services, so reserve your complementary tickets today! Register your kids for youth & teen programming and childcare
High Holidays are meaningful for the whole family! We offer engaging, age-appropriate youth programming for children in grades K–7. Your kids will connect with the themes and traditions of the season through creative, interactive experiences. Childcare and programming will be available for ages 6 months-4 years. For details and to register your children, click here. There is a small charge for youth programming.
Back by popular demand, we will have a designated teen lounge for 8th-12th graders with a mix of teen-centered programming and time and space to hang out. No registration or cost.
Bring your food donations: Tikkun Olam projects
Or Hadash will once again be collecting food for the hungry, leading up to and during the High Holidays. Please drop off your non-perishable items at Or Hadash through Yom Kippur. We will also be joining with the international Jewish community doing a reverse Tashlich waterfront cleanup on 9/20. See details in the drop down menu below.
Complete your Yizkor/B’Sefer Hayim Submissions
Or Hadash combines our traditional Yizkor Book with a Book of Life. We invite you to remember loved ones who have passed and to honor family and friends. This printed booklet will be used during the Yizkor service on Yom Kippur and Sukkot. Please complete your submission form to list names you would like to include.

Join us after Kiddush lunch to warm up our souls and prepare for the High Holidays by singing through beloved songs and prayers of the season, old and new melodies alike. You don’t have to be a brilliant singer, just willing to open your mouth and your heart!

Join us for a special Rosh Hashana Tot Shabbat, for a joyful morning of music, stories, movement, and connection. Led by Gila Daman and Pam Cohen, this special holiday experience is designed for children ages 0–6 and their siblings. We’ll sing, move, celebrate, and create meaningful Jewish moments together.

Join Rabbi Lauren, Dr. Amy, the Davening Team and the Or Hadash community for Rosh HaShanah services. Services will be held at Or Hadash and streamed over YouTube/Zoom. Members in good standing will be able to attend by providing a picture ID.
In this service, we’ll let ourselves spend more time with the most meaningful prayers from the liturgy instead of rushing through. There will be singing and chanting, quiet meditation, two options for Torah service (the full Torah reading in the sanctuary as well as a Torah study to wrestle with the stories themselves), and of course, the shofar blasts

Join us for Tashlich followed by a community-wide Reverse Tashlich river cleanup.
Or Hadash will participate through the organization Adamah, by cleaning up part of the Mason Mill Park riverfront.
Tashlich is a Rosh Hashanah ritual in which Jews begin the new year by symbolically casting off last year's sins by tossing pebbles or bread crumbs into a body of water.
In 2016, the college division of Repair the Sea (Scubi Jew®) at Eckerd College conceived the idea of hosting a Reverse Tashlich: a beach cleanup to remove human "sins" from the water.
Every year since, Reverse Tashlich has expanded as new communities have joined and removed thousands of pounds of debris from waterfront locations around the world as part of their High Holiday observance. Last year over 3000 participants from 245 communities in 12 countries joined the initiative.

Why do we visit the sick?
What's possible when we do? Join Dr. Amy to explore a rich array of Jewish teachings on the practical, cosmic, and psychological power of being with someone in their most vulnerable state -- and to discuss our own experiences.
Participants are invited (but not required!) to bring kosher/dairy beverages and snacks to share.
