Shabbat Hadasha: A New Shabbat Morning Experience

Shabbat Hadasha: A New Approach to Shabbat Morning

This service is a new gateway into Shabbat prayer, opening up the service for anyone for has ever longed to feel more connected in a Jewish prayer space.

9:15am: Gentle guided meditation rooting us in sacred time and the Jewish calendar

10:00am: Studying, chanting, and experiencing five or six prayers total from the Shabbat morning liturgy, taking more time to unpack the deeper meaning of each one.

10:50am: Text study and Torah discussion in pairs and with the larger group, culminating in an abbreviated Torah service with group aliyot, closing just before noon with Mourner's Kaddish and then a community Kiddish.

Part contemplative prayer and chant, part learner's minyan, part community experience, there's something here for everyone.
