Aveirut (meaning “communal responsibility”) is an organization that transforms how Jewish communities navigate and talk about divorce. Reb Ezra will be speaking during services, sharing about his own divorce, lessons on building resilience in the face of challenge and finding support within your community. Ezra Weinberg is a rabbi, ritual musician and educator dedicated to facilitating and supporting transformative Jewish rituals. He founded “Jews Get Divorce,” a network of resources for Jews going through Divorce, and co-founded Areivut, which aims to redefine the communal response to this life transition.  As a trained facilitator, he also supports communities struggling to have difficult conversations around Israel.  Working in a variety of denominational settings, Reb Ezra works with groups and individuals to move past deep-rooted individual and communal stuck-ness.  He currently resides in Philadelphia and holds a Master’s Degree in Conflict Transformation.
