"How to Mourn and Go On Living: Jewish Frameworks for Responding to Trauma"
We'll explore a story with R' Lauren from the Babylonian Talmud set in the aftermath of the destruction of the second temple, as the Jewish community struggles to integrate the experiences of trauma into their lives going forward. We'll discuss some of the current best practices shared among rabbis and counselors about building resilience in the wake of trauma and talk about how we reintegrate into life after traumas, individual and collective.
