On Shavuot (May 16-17), we reenact the moment when the entire Jewish community gathered at the foot of Mt. Sinai to receive the eternal wisdom of Torah. Every single year, we receive this wisdom again for our moment. This year, we're offering up three different virtual learning opportunities, enabling you to learn Torah with others from coast to coast and across the globe.

Ruth the Moabite. An opportunity to study with fellow COH members:
Join Dr. Amy1:00 pm-2:30 pm Sunday, May 16, for a discussion of the Book of Ruth with a particular focus on the way that the text portrays her as an outsider - for better and for worse. Click here for complete information and to RSVP

If you're looking for intimate, live learning and conversation with local teachers:
The Atlanta Rabbinical Association, with support from the Marcus Foundation, is sponsoring a virtual Tikkun Leil Shavuot from 6:00 pm to midnight on Sunday, May 16. Featuring a keynote teaching by Tal Ben-Shahar and Atlanta-area rabbis; including Rabbi Lauren who will be teaching a live session on Reopening and Ritual at 6:00 pm.
