Ten Paths to God – Part 2, Unit 9 of 10: The Way of Kiddush Hashem. An online curriculum on Judaism and Jewish identity based on traditional sources and the teachings of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks. It answers the three fundamental questions every reflective person will ask at some point in their life – Who am I? Why am I here? How then shall I live? Attendees will engage in an analysis in Hevruta (pairs), Habura (a study group) or in group discussions based on selected phrases and specific questions found in the materials. If time permits, supplementary sources will be used to take a deeper look at the week’s core concepts.

Thursday, April 4 @ 7:30 pm: GOD's SLAVE is a dramatic thriller that follows Ahmed, a trained Islamic terrorist, and David, an Israeli special agent; one planning a suicide bombing and the other who must stop it. But neither man is defined solely by their extremist views. Ahmed, posing as a doctor, lives happily with his wife and young son; though David’s marriage is on the rocks, he remains devoted to his wife and daughter. The film was made in 2015 in Venezuela and Argentina and is based on the 1994 AMIA bombing in Buenos Aires. The prosecutor investigating the bombing was murdered in January, 2015, one day before he was scheduled to present to Congress his allegations against Argentina's sitting President, whom he was prepared to accuse of attempting to cover up this terrorist act. His murder remains unsolved. Reserve your seat now... click to register!
