      Yom Ha'Atzmaut Community-Wide Celebration

    Let's Celebrate! Congregation Or Hadash is looking forward to hosting our second annual community-wide Yom Ha'Atzmaut Celebration. We will be celebrating Israel's 69th birthday! We will have Israeli-inspired food, Israeli music and dancing, crafts, Israeli kids games, a shuk with local artisans, face painting, a photo booth, and CAMELS. Additionally, at 2 pm we will screen the film 'Mekonen.' Mekonen is about the journey of Mekonen Abebe, a young African-Israeli Jew, once a young shepard in Africa and now a commander in the IDF.
